Connie D. Brock (Knox)

Connie D. Brock (Knox), 71, of Columbus, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022. She was born February 24, 1951, the daughter of the late Garnett and Cora (Jeffries) Brock. Connie had a passion for reading and cooking. In her spare time, she loved to dance and listen to music. She enjoyed being in the garden surrounded by beautiful flowers and especially loved butterflies. Connie loved to be a “girlie girl” and enjoyed looking classy. Most of all Connie loved her family, children, and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Theodore “T.J.” Knox of Columbus; daughter, Melinda “Mindy” Knox of Columbus; step-daughter, Carley Hauk of Columbus; brother, Mark (Lisa) Brock of Columbus; sisters, Judy (John) Woods of Columbus and Robin (Danny) Gassaway of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Daulton Knox, Dianna Ruiz-Knox, Keona Knox, and Jaden Knox; great-grandchildren, Erabella Brantley, Lyric Moore, and Amelia Norklun; also, several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Connie was preceded in death by her first husband, Theodore Knox II; her parents; brother-in-law, John Woods; and mother-in-law, Katherine Everroad. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home for final expenses. The funeral will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.
