Teresa L. "Terri" King, a beacon of love and kindness, was called to her eternal home on July 17, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on March 4, 1956, in Columbus, Indiana, Terri's life was a testament to the enduring strength of faith and the boundless capacity of the human heart to give and receive love. Terri's journey through life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family, her deep Christian faith, and her passion for the simple joys of life. She was a cherished wife to her surviving husband, Dave W. King, with whom she shared a blessed union since their marriage on May 8, 1982. Together, they walked a path of companionship and mutual support that stood as a testament to their shared values and commitment to one another. As a mother, Terri's love was a guiding light. She is survived by her loving children, Jeremy and K.T. King, who will forever carry with them the lessons of compassion and grace that she instilled in their hearts. Though she faced the profound sorrow of losing her children Jordan Michael King and Christopher Wayne King, her faith remained unshaken, and she continued to embody the selfless love that defined her. Terri's legacy is also cherished by her grandchildren, Noah, Samantha, Gage Wayne, Xavier, and Caydence Lynn, who were the joy of her life. Each blossom in her garden and each moment spent with them were treasured gifts that she held dear. Though her grandchild Wyatt Jordan King preceded her in death, the love they shared remains an unbreakable bond. She was the beloved daughter of her surviving mother, Lucy M. Neal, and was preceded in death by her father, Earl Callam, and step-father, Chester Neal. Her siblings, Mike Callam, Lori Steigerwalt, and Michell Magness, will remember her as a sister who walked in love and kindness, embodying the virtues that bind a family together. Terri's life was one of service and generosity, a life that reflected the love of Christ in every action. Her Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence, providing her with strength and solace throughout her life's journey. She was a woman who found profound joy in the simple act of growing flowers, each bloom a reflection of the beauty she saw in God's creation and the love she had for her family. Those who knew Terri will remember her as a loving, kind, and selfless soul. She was a woman who lived by the words of Mother Teresa, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." Terri's life was a mosaic of these small acts, each one a testament to her extraordinary capacity for love and her unwavering commitment to her faith and family. Calling for Terri and her son Christopher will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2025 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home.
