Frequently families try to find new, original or unique way of memorializing their loved one. At Jewell-Rittman, we do our best to stay with the times and to ensure that our family is doing the very best it can to meet the needs of those that we serve.

Hence, we offer DVD tributes to family members. Because we are considering a family's financial need, we offer these for $10 per disk with one going to the family at no cost. We do not charge for the service of creating the DVD.

We take up to a 100 photos that have been chosen by the family and friends and set them to music with a personalized background. We use discretionary measures concerning the music chosen with people's choices being limited only by legal restrictions. Our DVD Tributes are kind and lasting ways to memorialize a loved one.

Along with our DVD Tributes, we offer personalized candles for families as a special memory. Each candle has a printed label on it with the name and birth and death dates of the deceased. Many people chose to burn these candles during the services. However, families can chose to take them home, unlit, and have them as keepsakes. Either way, these candles are as helpful as they are pretty.

Because we are always expanding our services to meet the needs of our community and our families, we have added to the candle theme. Now, we can offer a virtual candle for families as well. Using the following link, families and friends can light virtual candles in memory of a loved one. These touching and personalized candles allow family members and friends to share memories and thoughts with everyone who visits the site.

Memorial folders are another way of personalizing the chosen services. Each memorial folder is unique, made from pictures, poetry or sayings. We can have them printed with specialized fonts if the family wants them. These folders are for use during the services; families, however, are more than welcome to take these folders with them and send them out as announcements.
